You can check out books from the Twin Cities Bungalow Club collection at the Merriam Park Library branch of the St. Paul Library. Ask to see the list kept at the reference desk. You can also reserve them online. Here's how.

  1. You must have a library card from one of the following Metropolitan Library Service Agency (MELSA) libraries: St. Paul Public, Ramsey County, Minneapolis Public, Hennepin County, Dakota County, Washington County, Carver County, Anoka County or Scott County. Go to the library nearest your home to get a card.
  2. Once you have a card, take it, along with a photo ID, to any St. Paul public library to get in their database. Once you've been established in the database, you may borrow or request materials from the collection supported by the Bungalow Club.
  3. You'll need a PIN (Personal Identification Number) to reserve a book online. For complete instructions on how to register for a PIN, go to www.stpaul.lib.mn.us, select Catalog Search, and select "How to Get a Pin." Also have your library card number handy before reserving online.
  4. To search for and reserve Bungalow Club materials online, go to www.stpaul.lib.mn.us and select "Catalog Search." After selecting the book you want, select the "Request" icon. You will be prompted to enter your name, barcode PIN and pickup location. At this time, if you do not already have a PIN you will be prompted to create one. You may choose to receive phone or e-mail notification that your reserved materials are ready.
  5. For additional help, ask your local librarian, or call the Merriam Park Library branch of the St. Paul Library. The library is located at 1831 Marshall Avenue. Hours are 12:30 - 9:00 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays; 10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. Tuesdays; 10:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays; and 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. Sundays. The phone number is 651-642-0385.
